Call forwarding, voicemail and Call History for your business number

Your dedicated Cooledge number used to be for SMS only. Now it can answer the phone too. Forward calls to a mobile or landline, take voicemail when you cannot and see every call that came in without leaving Cooledge.

What's New

• Call forwarding to any Australian mobile or landline, either all the time or only during the hours and days you work. Up to five numbers can ring at once and the first to answer takes the call. Answer confirmation means whoever picks up presses a key to take the call, so a customer never ends up on your personal voicemail by accident.
• Voicemail that you can actually read. Type a greeting or upload your own recording. Every message lands in Messages on the web and in the app with an AI summary and a full transcript, so you know what a caller wants in seconds. Voicemail and missed-call lead push notifications go to owner and admin phones only. Everyone else on the team still sees each voicemail in Messages.
• Missed calls that do something. Text the caller back automatically with one SMS and turn a missed call from an unknown number into a lead in your pipeline. Give the number a lead channel such as Google Ads and those leads are counted under it in your lead reports.
• Call History, a new report showing every call: who rang, which of your numbers they rang, whether it was answered, missed or went to voicemail, how long you talked and which calls created leads. Label a number Google Ads or Van signage and the totals tell you which one is bringing in the work.
• Extra numbers when you need them. Add up to five more numbers from Settings → Phone Numbers. A local number ($7 a month) suits each place you advertise and a mobile number ($15 a month) suits a second line for another tradie or region. Search by state, city or digits, give each one a tracking label such as Google Ads and route it like any other number. Call History shows which one rings. The owner can release a number at any time and the charge stops that day, prorated, unless you bought it less than 30 days ago.
• The voice add-on. Forwarded minutes are pay as you go at 20c a minute. Forward a lot and the add-on gives you 100 minutes for $15 a month. Only talking time counts. Ringing and voicemail are free.

How It Works

Call routing works on the dedicated business number that comes with the Growth and Scale plans. Starter sends SMS from the shared Cooledge number, so it has no number to route. Call answering is off until you turn it on. Open Settings → Phone Numbers and click Turn on call answering. Until then callers still hear the SMS only message. Set up routing in Settings → Phone Numbers, watch the calls come in under Reports → Call History and manage your minutes on the Voice Minutes & Usage card in Account & Billing.

Why It Matters

A missed call is a lost job. Now the calls you cannot take turn into a message you can read at the end of the day, a text the caller has already received and a lead sitting in your pipeline waiting to be quoted.
