Job Phases — split big jobs into stages under one job number

Big jobs rarely happen in one visit. A ducted install runs rough-in, fit-off then commissioning, often weeks apart. Job Phases lets you run each stage as its own piece of work without losing the single job your customer knows.

What's New

• Phases under one job number — split job 1004 into 1004-A Rough-in, 1004-B Fit-off and 1004-C Commissioning. Each phase has its own status, bookings, costs, forms and notes.
• Variations too — extra work the customer asks for mid-job gets its own numbered variation (1004-V1) so it never muddies the original scope.
• One invoice trail — invoices run in a single sequence across the whole job, whichever phase they bill. No duplicate invoice numbers, no confusion at the customer's end.
• Rolled-up view — the job header shows the family-wide status, and the Phases tab totals progress, billed, paid and outstanding across every stage.

How It Works

Open any job, head to the Phases tab and click Add phase. The first phase turns your job into 1004-A automatically. Works in the portal and the mobile app. See the Job Phases help guide for the full walkthrough.

Why It Matters

Stage work stops living in spreadsheets or duplicate jobs. Schedule, cost and invoice each stage on its own while the job stays one clean record from quote to final payment.
