Three new floor plan quote types: VRV, Ventilation and Subfloor Ventilation

Your floor plan upload used to quote ducted AC and nothing else. Now it quotes three more job types. When you create a new quote you'll see tiles for VRV, Ventilation and Subfloor Ventilation alongside ducted — same upload, same priced quote, PDF, online quote page and supplier take-off you already know.

What's New

• Ventilation — for bathroom, ensuite and laundry exhaust jobs. Upload the plan and Cooledge detects the rooms and highlights your wet rooms in blue. Auto Layout drops an extraction grille in each one, plus inline fans, ducting and an exhaust point automatically. Everything is editable on the canvas: drag parts, draw duct runs in 100/125/150mm flex, change grille sizes, or mark a grille "reuse existing" so it isn't charged or ordered. Pricing comes from your new Ventilation catalogue.
• Subfloor Ventilation — for damp and mould jobs under the house. Place subfloor vents, inlet spigots, an inline fan and ducting on the plan and the builder prices the job from your Subfloor Ventilation catalogue — base install, parts and fan with your margin.
• VRV (Floor Plan) — Beta — design a VRV multi-head system directly on the plan. Auto Layout drops an indoor unit in every conditioned room plus an outdoor unit. Choose from four indoor styles, set brand and series per unit, let capacity auto-size from each room's heatload, and use "Rooms served" so one unit can cover several rooms. A capacity summary tracks total indoor kW against the outdoor unit and warns you past a 130% connection ratio.

How It Works

1. From Floor Plan, click New Floor Plan and pick a quote type tile
2. Drop in a PDF or image — multi-page and multi-level are supported, same as ducted
3. Review the detected rooms, then hit Auto Layout or place parts by hand
4. Set your fan, controller, indoor units and options; pricing pulls from your catalogue
5. Send the priced quote, PDF, online quote and supplier take-off

Why It Matters

One platform now quotes ducted AC, VRV, ventilation and subfloor work from the same floor plan upload — no separate tools, no re-measuring. Ventilation and Subfloor Ventilation appear once you enable the Heating & Ventilation industry in Settings → Company Settings, and VRV (Floor Plan) shows for air conditioning businesses.
