Customer history on jobs: walk in knowing what you found last time

Your tech pulls up at a repeat customer's place. Where did the outdoor unit go last time? What is the gate code? Is the dog friendly? Until now the answer was buried in an old job. Now it is on the job they just opened.

What's new

• Customer history on every repeat job. A tinted panel at the bottom of the job's notes feed, right under Job created, brings together photos from the customer's previous jobs at the same site, photos on the customer and every customer note. Notes saved from another job say which job and when.
• One lightbox for all of it. Step through every photo in one go. Each one is labelled Previous jobs or Customer photo, with the job it came from.
• Out of the way when you want it. Collapse the panel once and it stays collapsed on that device. It only appears when there is something to show.
• Tidy up as you go. Remove an out of date note or photo from the customer straight from the panel. Only the person who added it, or the owner, can remove it, and you confirm first. A photo saved from a job stays on that job. The customer page follows the same rule.

On your phone

The mobile app has the same panel. Press and hold a customer photo or note to remove it. The Notes tab on the job and customer screens now shows a count, so you can see at a glance whether there is anything to read. Close and reopen the app if you do not see it yet.

Tidier team permissions

Restricted team members, usually your subcontractors, see Customer history on the jobs they are booked on, with photos and notes only. They no longer see quote or invoice PDFs, so your pricing stays with your team. Reports, parts lists, forms and uploaded files work for them as before.
