Auto Duct Layout: Visual duct designer with auto-routing and take-off

The duct designer you've been asking for. Auto Duct Layout adds a visual design surface to the ducted floor plan wizard. Auto-route the entire system in one click, or draw by hand with a full parts library. The drawn layout flows straight into your take-off.

What's New

• One-click auto-layout. Press the Auto Layout button and the system places plenums, BTO and DBTO fittings, flex runs, dampers and outlets based on your zones and heatload.
• Full manual drawing. BTO (inverted triangle), DBTO (trapezium), plenums, flex with smooth curves, zone dampers, indoor unit and the new outdoor unit and refrigerant pipework parts.
• Outlets live on the floor plan. Drag outlets to match the real ceiling positions, pin them and the system re-routes flex runs automatically.
• Take-off follows the drawing. The drawn layout drives the take-off. No more quote vs reality mismatch when ordering parts.
• Outdoor unit and refrigerant pipework are now part of the quote and take-off, not just the indoor side.

How It Works

1. Open a ducted floor plan and complete the usual room and zone setup
2. Click the Parts tab on step 1 of the wizard
3. Hit Auto Layout for instant routing, or use the drawing tools to place parts by hand
4. The quote and take-off pick up the drawn layout automatically

Why It Matters

Quoting a ducted system should not mean flipping between Cooledge and a purpose-built duct design tool. Auto Duct Layout gives you the same visual design and take-off, inside the quoting tool you already use every day.
